Highly creative, strategically minded and enthusiastic are qualities which I believe make me an ideal candidate for this course. 'I am extremely ambitious and motivated to achieve great academic results to contribute to the field of media communications within your university. I have recently completed an Advertising (BA), where I have developed strong knowledge and understanding of integrated marketing communications (traditional and digital), generating ideas and concepts within various media, creative skills such as art direction and copywriting and brand management.

During my advertising studies, I have learnt to develop creative solutions for various media advertising, combining a technical and practical approach to business applications.

I have always been fascinated with how messages are conveyed to large audiences, via multiple media channels. 'I am constantly reviewing and evaluating various media techniques which use visual and conversational communications.

I am particularly interested in media advertising in a global context. 'I would like to broaden my knowledge and research of academic theory and practical application of psychology, media trends, placement and design of public messages.

I am naturally curious of how integrated campaigns reach various audiences through different media, such as television, radio, newspapers and digital technology. 'I enjoy analysing and evaluating key messages, methods, strengths and weaknesses of different campaigns reaching different target audiences. 'This constant process in my daily life, gives me ideas for personal research and application to future work.

I would welcome the opportunity to work with leading scholars and industry professionals in this field, use traditional media and industry standard digital technology, within an international academic environment. 'I also hope to learn and share innovative ideas with likeminded peers.

I am a creative and independent person who also enjoys working within a team. 'While at university, I was elected the Director of Literature and Art, which involved the exchange of techniques and research. 'As Vice Captain of Ensemble Recital, I presided over the New Year's party and dance contest. 'This required excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of organisation and hard work. 'I enjoy taking a brief, managing a new concept and producing successful results.

Working for the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo 2010, I was involved in the preparation and organisation of Expo 2010. 'As key personnel, I was responsible for various research, analysis and operational projects. This role required a high level of dedication and professionalism to complete these projects. 'My strong organisational and time management skills ensured all tasks were completed efficiently. 'An academic background and fluency in English listening, speaking, reading and writing were prerequisites to be successful in this job.
