Computing and IT Access to HE Course Personal Statement
My ambition to study the Access to HE course in Computing and ICT at Northenden Campus has developed out of my love for the subject and my own natural aptitude for mathematics and IT, and in response to the attractions of the campus and the course being offered. I love the science of IT, and I have already gained a number of qualifications in the subject, including a BTEC in Software Engineering, but I am equally excited by the role it plays in the human world, the advantages it can bring to us and the way it can make difficult and time-consuming tasks manageable and achievable. IT has revolutionised the way business is conducted across the world. The technology is now at the heart of industrial and commercial processes and is a vital element in efficiency and innovation in a huge range of enterprises.
The course appeals to me because it offers a wide variety of teaching and learning methods and has a strong element of practical work in the syllabus. I am eager to study and am reliably hard-working and committed, and I believe that the combination of tutorials, workshops and private study in the course is ideally suited to my personality and working methods. The diploma offered at the end of the course will give me a strong basis for further study and I hope subsequently to progress towards a full university degree. The recent investment in the Campus makes it extremely attractive, with its excellent new learning resource centre and top-quality IT facilities, as well as all the other sporting, social and recreational amenities available on the site. Manchester is a great city to live and study in, and I very much look forward to being a part of this world.
We hope that this Access to HE Course Personal Statement example has helped you.
